Brief:
Most funerals are unexpected, with little time to gather the person’s relatives and friends, often from very long distances. Western Australia’s Metropolitan Cemeteries Board has solved one of the problems for those who cannot attend, by providing a live or pre-recorded webcast of the ceremony.
To assist with the project, the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board commissioned ProDesign to design and implement specialist lighting for Karrakatta Cemetery and Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park.
Being mindful of the delicate nature of the project, discreet placement and subtle control of the luminaires was a high priority. Working within the constraints of lighting levels required for camera, the varying daylight conditions and the requirement for minimal intrusion to the service, a high-quality result was achieved with the minimum of fuss.
